The UPS Foundation Delivers Lifesaving Assistance to Refugees

Since 2010, the UPS Foundation has supported USA for UNHCR, contributing over $10M to sustain UNHCR’s efforts in delivering critical assistance during emergencies and finding long-term solutions for refugees and displaced people. The UPS Foundation’s mission to deliver pathways that empower resilient, just and safe communities extends its work beyond financial assistance or delivering packages to directly impacting the lives of individuals, families and entire communities affected by war, persecution or violence.

The UPS Foundation’s partnership with UNHCR leverages its expertise, resources and innovative solutions to facilitate knowledge exchange, creative solutions in logistics, emergency preparedness and child protection for unaccompanied and separated children. Programs like the Emergency Preparedness Supply Training in Nairobi, a training supported by the UPS Foundation that cultivates a pool of skilled staff through hands-on training, allows UNHCR to increase its capacity to respond to the rising number of crises.
